Family houses here usually mean a duvet and pillows on every bed. We collect the lot from your door across Golders Green, Temple Fortune and Hampstead Garden Suburb, clean it in our own laundry and bring it back within 3 working days.

Golders Green grew quickly once its tube station opened in 1907, and its side streets are lined with family houses from the early twentieth century, with flats above the shops on Golders Green Road and the Finchley Road. Hampstead Garden Suburb, next door, was laid out from 1907 for Henrietta Barnett to a plan by Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin. Its Arts and Crafts houses sit along hedged roads, closes and walks, with Lutyens's Central Square, St Jude's Church and the Free Church at the heart of it, and Big Wood, Little Wood and the Hampstead Heath Extension all close by. Houses this size hold a lot of bedding: several duvets, a pile of pillows and spare sets for guests, far more than a home machine can take in a day.

We come to your door, count every item with you and send the list on WhatsApp before we drive off. Many roads in the Suburb are quiet closes where a van cannot turn easily, so we may park at the end and walk up; if your house is down a footpath or behind a hedge with no obvious door, add a note when you book. Golders Green Road and the Finchley Road at Temple Fortune are busy shopping streets, and some flats above the shops are entered from the side or back of the parade, so tell us where your front door is. Collection windows run Monday to Saturday, 8am to 7pm, and if a Saturday does not suit, any weekday works just as well.

Our NW11 route covers Golders Green from the station and Golders Green Road up to Temple Fortune, and Hampstead Garden Suburb, from the Heath Extension and Big Wood to Central Square and Northway Gardens. The eastern part of the Suburb has an N2 postcode and is covered too; the rest of East Finchley is not yet. Hampstead and the Heath lie just to the south, so this run joins our NW3 route, with West Hampstead beyond. Hendon in NW4, Finchley and Highgate are outside our area for now.
