Fulham fills a broad bend of the Thames, and most of it was built from the 1870s onwards as long streets of Victorian terraced houses laid over old market gardens. Plenty are still family houses, and many others have been split into an upper and a lower flat. The old village centres survive in the names: Walham Green around Fulham Broadway, and Parsons Green with its green. Down by the river, Sands End was once industrial and is now lined with apartment buildings around Imperial Wharf, while Hurlingham and the streets near Fulham Palace and Bishop's Park are quieter and leafier. A family terrace has a duvet and pillows on every bed; a riverside flat has nowhere to dry even one. A commercial drum and slow drying sort out both.
Most Fulham streets are residents' parking, so we keep the van stop short and do the handover at your door: we count each item with you and message you the list on WhatsApp before we leave. In a converted house with a shared front door, tell us your flat number and whether to ring or call. In the apartment buildings around Imperial Wharf, leave the bag with the concierge and we will collect it from the desk. Fulham has two football grounds, Stamford Bridge on the Fulham Road and Craven Cottage by Bishop's Park, and on match days the streets around them fill up. We plan collection windows nearby away from kick-off and the final whistle.

Yes. Near Stamford Bridge and Craven Cottage we plan the window away from kick-off and the end of the match, when the surrounding streets are busiest. We will suggest a time when you book.
Do you cover all of SW6?
Yes, from Fulham Broadway and Parsons Green to Hurlingham, South Park, Sands End and Imperial Wharf. Chelsea Harbour has an SW10 postcode and is on our Chelsea page. Putney, across the river, is not covered yet.
Can I leave the bag with my building's concierge?
Yes. Give us the building name and the concierge's hours when you book. We count the items at the desk, message you the list, and bring the clean bedding back to the same desk.
