Chelsea and South Kensington are a patchwork of stucco terraces, garden squares, mews houses and portered mansion blocks. Queen's Gate, Onslow Gardens and the streets around Gloucester Road are lined with tall white terraces, a great many of them divided into flats, with cobbled mews tucked in behind. Closer to the river, the houses around Cheyne Walk and the squares off the King's Road are a mix of whole houses and flats. SW10 shifts again, from the villas of The Boltons and the tall terraces of Redcliffe Square to the World's End estate and the riverside apartments at Chelsea Harbour. Good bed linen deserves better than a tumble dryer and a hurried fold, and a feather duvet needs a commercial drum and slow drying that no flat kitchen can offer.

Concierge collection is the simplest option for a portered block: leave the bag at the desk with your name and flat number, we count it there and message you the list, and the clean bedding returns to the same desk. For houses, we come to the door at an agreed time so the van stops only briefly, which matters on busy roads such as the King's Road and Fulham Road. Some mews in SW3 and SW7 are gated or too narrow to stop in, so tell us about access when you book. In May, the Chelsea Flower Show brings big crowds to the streets around the Royal Hospital, and we plan SW3 collections that week with extra time.

Chelsea and South Kensington sit on one route with Kensington and Earl's Court. That covers South Kensington around the museums on Exhibition Road and Cromwell Road, the King's Road from Duke of York Square to World's End, Sloane Avenue, Cheyne Walk and the Chelsea Embankment, and the SW10 streets down to Lots Road and Chelsea Harbour, including the area around Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Fulham Road. Sloane Square itself, Belgravia and Pimlico are in SW1 and outside our area for now, so check your postcode before you book. Fulham, across the border in SW6, is not covered yet either.
